SO! Or, rather, SEW! I got my outside of the bag I'm designing to use starting this weekend completed! I would have had it done a day or two ago BUT the lady who was helping me in JA's last weekend suggested the interfacing that was WAY too thick and I didn't know til it was too late .... OH well, I put THAT tote to use holding all my spare material and patterns to use next year and such .... less clutter, LOL!!

ANYWAYS, I got SO sick of watching Coach Ergo Totes on eBay and NOT winning them because after they got above a price I wanted to pay I just removed them and moved on .... that I designed my own version - bigger, no snap in the outside pocket, and a fashion buckle to keep the bag closed. It's a big one, measures around 16 inches by 12 inches by 5 inches. VERY sturdy too! ALL washable, that's a must for me with twins under a year!! Tomorrow I'll finish the inside and that will mean: sewing the zippered inside pocket to the inside fabric, making two big/long button - hole like holes in the top right under both handles to attach the closure to, and then cutting the handles off to sew the inside to the outside and sewing the handles up and sewing it to the bag and then WHALLA! Should be done by Thursday AM at the LATEST, as we leave before noon to drive up to the airport since we fly out EARLY Friday AM .... YAY ....

After all of this is done I'll be sure to post pics and everything .... and then once I get back, I'll have 2 or 3 diaper bags to make and then baby clothes as well : ) SO much to do!!
